The EP8 Bullitt takes the "acoustic" Bullitt and gives you way, way more capability, whether that's longer rides or bigger hills. Bullitts are designed for performance and this bike amplifies that performance seriously. Take one look at the drivetrain. The massive 11-42 XT 12-speed cassette provides a massive 418% gear range (and is a much lighter option than the internal gear hub options available). But the big news is Shimano's EP8 motor. It has a massive 85nm of torque (similiar to a small car!), 500W of peak power, and a huge 500W battery can push up to 180km on a single charge. Want a bike that reads your mind? While the motor constantly tunes torque and power to your needs, the electric shifting automatically finds your gear when you need it (there's a manual option too). Acceleration, hills, cornering, speed... load it up with cargo and punch a hole in gridlock. This bike is ready to make a massive difference in your life.
Anybody who has ridden a Bullitt knows the feeling. Whereas most cargo bikes are heavy, sluggish and tend to 'bow' in corners, the Bullitt is light, fast and ultra-stiff. What you give it, it gives back. This performance is only advanced by a performance geometry that maximizes pedal-transfer and steering performance. The EP8 is the result of many years development and brings Shimano's wealth of experience in cycling engineering into a small, powerful and fantastic functioning flagship eBullitt. Both massively powerful and beautifully engineered, the engine provides a fantastic and naturel transfer of power, just when you -the rider- require it.
250watt with an incredibly grunty 85 newton meters of torque, the EP8 represents the pinnacle of electrically assisted bikes and it's strength makes it a fantastic contender for cargo riding. Less drag due to a change in seals and software updates from previous iterations, the EP8 rolls smoothly and incredibly efficiently. Coupled with fantastic shifting courtesy of XT Di2, the electronic gears change with precision and low maintenance time and time again.

When selecting components for the Bullitt, we are careful and proud to work with some of the most quality obsessed manufacturers in the business, including Gates Carbon Drive, Shimano, TRP, Schwalbe and Abus.

The components chosen are designed to work with cargobikes and if required, certified for use with electric assist bikes and the extra wear and tear incurred by using them.
We have chosen to spec four piston brakes and 180mm rotors on all Bullitt models, so that stopping quickly and effectively under load, in all environments and weather conditions, is maximised.
The Bullitt is designed and developed with safety at the forefront and extends to both rider and cargo however precious. Inherent stability through good design and a comprehensive accessory range that enhance and compliment safety features.

Our tried and tested line of accessories like the Canopy with its steel frame and sidebars ensure child safety whilst the construction of our BBX Sidepanel Kit and Honeycomb Board consists of an advance aluminium lattice which maintain ridigity and stiffness. The fabrics and materials of all our accessories have been certified for use with children and we are proud of our continuing commitment to the Bullitt being the safest and most secure cargo bike on the market.
The eBullitt ships as standard with lights that have been certified for road use in all European markets for visibility and comply with the strictest of legislation. Our aluminium kickstand is durable and stable to ensure your load remains safely upright at all times and if you regularly carry weighty goods, we can offer chromoly steel version for extra piece of mind.
